Ridgewood, NJ – August 23, 2010 – World Software Corporation® (www.worldox.com), the company behind the award-winning Worldox® Document Management System (DMS) software, and DocSolid®, makers of KwikTag Document Imaging for law firms, today announced and integration between their products. Worldox Document Management customers can now add KwikTag as an enterprise scanning platform, and capture client matter paper documents directly into Worldox electronic folders.
DocSolid has integrated KwikTag seamlessly into the Worldox user screens, so that adding scanned paper documents to client matter folders is part of the Worldox standard workflow. Paper documents are profiled directly into Worldox, just like emails or Word documents. A bar code label then is attached to the document, to link it to the Worldox client matter folder. At the MFP or other scanning device, users can scan stacks of documents with the touch of a single button. Scanned documents are OCR’d, converted to PDF, and automatically placed in the Worldox repository client matter folders. Automatic audits ensure integrity throughout the process.
Worldox law firms are looking to extend their implementations to fully unify their client information. That means moving paper from the file room, where it is difficult to access, into the electronic folder, where it becomes part of a secured, easy to access client record.
The KwikTag platform provides scan to email, routing, and other departmental scanning capabilities. KwikTag also integrates with a firm’s accounting application to scan accounting paper, and with various litigation packages.
World Software President Ray Zwiefelhofer said, “KwikTag elevates the range of market-leading scanning systems which integrate with Worldox, so that larger firms can now have a fully integrated, high productivity capture platform. KwikTag users capture paper documents as digital images directly from our Worldox screens, using profiling methods and workflows already in place. This DocSolid partnership is another step forward in enhancing the Worldox functionality set for our customers.”
Steve Irons, President of DocSolid, remarked, “Worldox customers become experts at document management, and quickly realize they have to get their paper files into the system to realize the software’s full advantage. That means they must move beyond entry-level solutions for occasional scanning to a robust platform that enables capture of all client matter paper. KwikTag does that. By tightly coupling KwikTag with Worldox, we’re bringing firm-wide document imaging to these ambitious Worldox firms.”
DocSolid will be demonstrating the Kwiktag/Worldox integration at their ILTA booth (#530) in Las Vegas this week.
