Additional tools for Sony Digital Paper
The digital paper device by itself can be a powerful tool. The below tools either we or our customers have found to enhance their DP workflow experience. Check back often as we’ll post new updates here periodically. (Free for third party tools on this page are NOT supported by either World Software or Sony but are suggestions for gaining additional value from your Digital Paper Device)
Convert Email and send to your DP:
This handy utility from Sperry Software installs as an outlook plug in and allows pre configuration to save to your FileCloud directly which in turn gets synced with DP. Simply select an email, press the button and within seconds your email and attachments are converted to PDF and stored in the folder to sync with DP. (World Software or Sony has no affiliation with Sperry Software)
Auto convert NON PDF’s to send to DP:
This handy utility created by World Software is offered complimentary to DP customers. A prerequisite is the installation of a free third party PDF print utility called BullZip. Once installed this utility allows you to drag and drop any file type to its icon which converts to PDF’s and copy’s to the DP sync folder.

Sample Templates:
At times there may be a desire to have a custom template for note taking, or to have an increased page limit than the default 10. The below word doc has a note pad template that you can customize and add your own items, then save to pdf and copy to DP. Once on your DP device simply write on like you would a normal note.
For Worldox GX3 Customers:
Using Worldox with the Sony device provides increased filing and organization such as saving notes into an appropriate client-matter folder, checking out Worldox client documents for review & editing, and more manageable syncing in general. There will be a time you wish to send non pdfs to the PD device for review and markup. Worldox customers can purchase the optional productivity suite which includes built in PDF conversion of other file types to PDF, for one click convert and store on your DP device.
