How_to_Disable_the_Confirm_Quick_Profile_Preference

Existing Worldox users will notice a difference in behavior when using Quick Profiles in Worldox GX4. By default, you can preview the Quick Profile’s values in the Paste Quick Profile dialog before you apply them. Please note that if you prefer not to use this feature, you can disable it in the Worldox Preferences dialog. Please see How to Disable the Confirm Quick Profile Preference at the end of this article.

You can quickly paste Quick Profile information from an existing Worldox document’s Quick Profile into the File Save dialog as you save a new file. A Paste Quick Profile dialog allows you to see a Quick Profile’s contents without you having to assign it to the file first. You can select whether or not you want to use the existing Quick Profile’s Description, as well as any Security status or CommentsComments are additional notes (if any) available for profiled documents. Comments are created via entry in the Add’l Comments field on profile forms. You can elect to show or hide comments in Worldox worklists. that might be applied. You can also de-select other fields in the Quick Profile if you do not wish to use them. This process is also consistent with the CopyA copy in Worldox is more than the standard Windows copy function. It’s one way to profile a document. In the File Save dialog, click the Quick Profiles tab.

Double-click an existing Quick Profile. The Paste Quick Profile dialog appears. You can click whichever field or fields you would like to use for the new file’s Quick Profile information. After you have selected fields, click Paste.

The File Save dialog’s profile fields are populated with the fields you copied. In the following example, the Description was not copied from the Paste Quick Profile dialog so a different one can be entered in the File Save. Please note that the Paste Quick Profile dialog does offer the option to also copy the Description if desired.

How to Disable the Confirm Quick Profile Preference

If you do not want to view Quick Profile values before you apply them, select Edit > PreferencesWorldox uses preference settings to control various aspects of application function and appearance. Users (with the appropriate rights) can use preferences to customize and personalize Worldox. > Worldox. Select the Save As Options category. Double-click the Confirm Quick Profile option and select No. Worldox will implement the change on the next Save As operation.
