Worklist tools

Worldox worklists are lists of documents, projects and other files. There are various ways to generate worklists:

       Searching for files or email

       Using Direct Access

       Accessing Favorite files

Accessing Favorite Matters, profile group folders or other content in the navigation pane

Re-opening bookmarked lists, via the bookmark bar or Bookmarks folder-tree category

       Using Location or Filter bars

Tip:  To show or hide comments in worklists, click in the toolbar or select Show/Hide > Comments in List from the Display pull-down menu. To add or change comments for a document, select that file, then open the Comments tab at the bottom right of the screen.

Worldox provides several useful features to organize worklists and document information:

      Worklist tabs

One or more clickable clickable tabs appear over worklists. These tabs are used to open new lists and navigate between lists.

      Document  tabs

There is another set of tabs beneath worklists, at the bottom right of the Worldox window. These tabs structure document-level information and utilities (preview, filter, create/manage projects).

      Sorts and filters

Worklists come with several useful tools for changing list sort order. Aside from clickable column headers, you can also set up. multi-level sorting, via the Sort dialog.

      Location and Filter bars

These are essential visible shortcuts to finding files - offering ways to filter long worklists, search within lists and to navigate directly to recently-accessed lists.

New navigation pane category view buttons

GX3 introduces a redesigned left-side navigation panel, now offering one-click button access to several types of content. One new category here is Favorite Matters, which lists all recently accessed Client/Matter folders. The Bookmarks category is another, listing all Worldox bookmarks.

As you work with lists, you could see different symbols appearing on the left-side of file listings. These are security symbols, denoting item status. For a quick overview of key worklist features, check out this guided tour.
