Open the Worldox Instant Message dialog, which should be visible at the lower right of your Windows desktop.

In the Worldox Instant Message dialog:
Unless you change it, the On-Line
status designation displays automatically in the Show
me as drop-down field. You can click the down arrow to the right of that field to select
another status, communicating to message recipients that you may not be
available for return messages.
Select a recipient.
Click the down arrow to
the right of the Talk to drop-down
field to select the Worldox user you want to message. Or, if that person
is already selected in the Talk to
field, just click Chat 
.
OR, select the message recipient from the IM Favorites list:
Click Menu. That opens a menu of chat-related options. Click IM Favorites to see the list of people with whom you’ve chatted recently:
Select a recipient.
• If the selected recipient is available (i.e., not Off-Line), then the chat session begins. You see the wdIM to dialog (chat window). Start typing in the open field at the bottom of the dialog, then click Send to post your message.
Tip: Use shortcuts - the Insert menus to add symbols, the Send menu to create and send short messages without typing. |
• If the recipient selected in Step 3 is not available, you see the Send IM message. Click OK to acknowledge, and try again later.
