The chat window (wdIM to dialog) offers several time-saving shortcuts for faster communication.
Many common chat symbols can be found on the Insert menu.
Just position your cursor anywhere within the open message field at the bottom of the wdIM to dialog (chat window), then select a symbol or Yes/No message from the Insert menu:
Your Insert menu selection then appears in the message window:
Whereas Insert menu items are inserted into message text, Send menu items actually are the message.
Just position your cursor anywhere within the open message field at the bottom of the wdIM to dialog (chat window), then select a symbol or Yes/No message from the Send menu:
That sends your message automatically. No need in this case to click Send.
