The Spelling Dictionaries dialog - accessed by selecting Spelling Dictionary from the File pull-down menu - has a number of buttons and choices.
All these choices make it looks as though you can do many things here, adding and removing dictionaries for example. In truth, you can only manage one dictionary - the default dictionary - in these ways:
This dialog and the default dictionary are licensed from a third-party software provider. The dialog is designed to accommodate multiple dictionary scenarios, and all the related functions used to support multiple-dictionary set-ups.
Worldox uses a simpler model for dictionary management, using one customizable dictionary. Only basic features - adding and removing words - are supported. So most buttons here lead to actions which ultimately serve no purpose.
Example: You can click Add Dictionary here to add a dictionary, but there is no way in Worldox to select other dictionaries for use in spell-checking.
Use the Spelling Dictionaries dialog only for the purposes mentioned above, for adding new words and removing added words from the default Worldox dictionary.
