Use the Edit menu to alter a document's profile, to add the selected file to your Favorites list or remove it, to copy the full file path to the clipboard, to set program preferences, and to set up the Worldox Home (starting) list.

Places the cursor in the Location field - located in the Location bar - and highlights the current folder location. |
Doc ID Filter |
Places the cursor in the Filter field - located in the FIlter bar - and highlights current filter settings, and opens the Filter bar if it is not visible.. |
Profile |
Opens the Edit > Profile dialog, where you can edit profile information for the selected file. (If more than one file was selected before clicking this button, you see a different Edit > Profile dialog.) |
Favorite Files |

Add |
Opens the Edit > Favorite Files > Add dialog, where you can add selected file(s) to Favorites lists in one or more categories. |
Remove |
Opens the Edit > Favorite Files > Remove dialog, where you can remove selected file(s) from favorites lists. Note: If not all the selected files are favorites in any category, you see a message to that effect. |
Copy Location to Clipboard |
Copies the full path of the selected files to the Windows clipboard. |
Assign to Categories |
Opens the Edit > Assign to Categories dialog, where you can place selected file(s) in a Worldox category. |
Home Location |
Opens the Edit > Home Location dialog, where you can view and change the Home (starting) list. |
Preferences |

Opens the Edit > Preferences > Worldox dialog, where you can set or change various Worldox program settings and options. |
Spelling |
Opens the Spelling Options dialog, where you can set or change settings relating to how spell-checking works in Worldox. |
Spelling Dictionary |
Opens the Windows Spelling Dictionaries window, where you can manage dictionaries. |
Set Owner |
Opens the Edit > Set Owner dialog, where Managers can specify a new owner for selected file(s), possibly also designating the owner as holder of full security rights for that file. (The ability to separate full security rights from file ownership was introduced in the GX2 version of Worldox.) Note: This menu choice is available only to Worldox Managers. |
Field Tables |
Opens the Edit > Field Tables dialog, where you can add, change or remove field codes for selected tables. If there are multiple profile groups at your site - and you have access to more than one - you first see the Select Profile Group dialog. |
