Searching and profiling documents on the iPadiPhone most often requires selection from field tables. Here is an example on a search form:
Profile fields display in black text. Touch the field label to activate the cursor and display the keyboard for free-form entry in that field.
Fields that have tables from which you can select a value are displayed in blue text. Touch a blue field to view a field table.
In the following example, the keyboard is displayed as a file name is typed in the Description field.
The Created field table shows a list of From and To dates. Scroll upwards on the list to select a value.
The DocType field table lists names. Scroll upwards in the list and check a type or types.
Note: On search forms, you can select multiple field table values, even multiple cabinets.
When you're finished selecting or entering search field values, touch a blank area of the screen. On the form, the selected value(s) display to the right of the field label.
Field tables work the same way on Direct Access forms and Upload Profile forms.
