Understanding_Profile_Elements
A file’s location (folder path) is determined by the Cabinet and profile field values used to identify that document.
Profile forms start with the cabinet choice (or pre-selection, if there is only one group available). Fields on profile forms – such as Client, Matter, Doc Type and Typist – reflect the fields used for the selected cabinet.
Use the Description field to describe the contents of the file. The description can be up to 128 characters long.
There is an optional field named Add’l Comments. This field can hold up to 5,000 characters. Comments are fully text searchable.
Note: Description text is automatically spell checked when you save the file. Spelling in the Add’l Comments field must be checked before the Comments section closes.
Documents are organized and saved in cabinets. Each profiled document then has its own profile, the document profile, describing that file. To demonstrate how this works, create and save a Pages document.
Click the Pages
icon to open
the app.
Create a new file and select the Share icon. From the drop-down list, select Open in Another App.
The Open in Another App window appears and prompts you to select a format. Select Word.
The document appears in a window and a Choose App button appears. Click Choose App and then Open in Worldox.
Worldox opens and the Upload File screen appears. For details, see Upload and profile documents.
