Cabinets folder tree has replaced Profile Groups
In previous versions of Worldox, a Profile Group was a category of profiles (a form used to profile documents). Worldox GX4 now refers to that as a Cabinet . Worldox allows up to 150 different cabinets. For example, you may have one cabinet for administrative documents and another cabinet of documents associated with litigation. Each cabinet utilizes a unique profile form, with a characteristic set of fields. As individual documents are profiled, users first select the cabinet, then use that group’s ProfileSee Metadata. Previous versions of Worldox used Profile instead of Metadata. For example, the Profile tab is now the Metadata tab; Edit Profile option is now the Edit Metadata option. Profiles are sets of key document attributes. Each document managed by Worldox has a profile associated with it. Profiles are associated with profile groups. Worldox profiles include basic document information – up to seven custom fields per profile (Client, Matter, et al.) Profiles not only record key document identifiers; they also determine where documents are stored. In the latest release of Worldox, "profiles" terminology has been changed to "metadata". The Profiles tab has been renamed to Metadata tab and the Edit Profile option is now the Edit Metadata option. form to describe the document.
