There are some options which are included specifically to fix bugs in Word that cause problems in specific circumstances. Changes to these settings should be placed under the [Word-2007] section in the WORLDOX.INI file.

Yes | If disabled, it will invoke a workaround for file locking issues when working with versions of 2003 format documents in 2007. Note: Only disable this is you see file locking issues under these circumstances. The option will cause old format documents to be closed and re-opened to clear file locks. |
