Preferences are customized settings used by Worldox to control how various program features appear and operate. Most preferences are managed in the Edit > Preferences > Worldox dialog.
Some basic spell-checking options are found there, but most spell-checking preferences are managed in a separate, Spelling Options dialog.
To view or change spell-checking preference settings:
Select Preferences > Spelling from the Edit pull-down menu. That opens the Spelling Options dialog.
Tip: The Spelling Options dialog is also accessible anytime Worldox checks spelling, via button choice in the Check Spelling dialog. Just click Options. |
In the Spelling Options dialog, make any changes needed.
• 11 checkboxes give short explanations of what each option does. Check or uncheck boxes to customize how spell-checking works.
• The Main Dictionary Language field is pre-selected to the language associated with the default dictionary. Other language choices for that dictionary list in the drop-down field. Select whichever language is appropriate.
• Suggestions options instruct Worldox on how accurate to be in spell-checking, from the fastest - yet least accurate - word matching to the most accurate, but slowest. Select the speed you want.
Click OK.
Changed spelling preferences take effect immediately, as soon as the Spelling Options dialog closes.
