Updating DocsCorp modules

For Worldox Administrators only:

With the versions of DocsCorp products provided in the Worldox Productivity Suite, there is unfortunately no option for automatic "check for update" actions. However, it is easy to check for and install DocsCorp updates.  

To update pdfDocs or CompareDocs (when needed) you have to manually check and see if you have the latest MSI of that product downloaded to the Worldox DOCSCORP folder on the network. These product folders should be under the DOCSCORP folder in your Worldox program folder on the network. Assuming you have already downloaded a product MSI and installed it to each workstation from this location, the current DocsCorp product MSI will be in that folder.

Here is the example for the pdfDocs folder:

Click on the Download pdfDocs Installer link to connect to DocsCorp and download the latest MSI (if necessary).

       If the number of the DocsCorp MSI is higher than the MSI number in your network folder (3-2-7-39 in the example above), download it. If there is no more recent MSI, then no newer updates are available; you can cancel the download.

       If there is a newer MSI available, download it and place it in the same folder, then remove the older MSI. On the next load of the Productivity Suite - assuming the workstation was installed correctly and the user has the necessary local machine rights - it will update the DocsCorp product in question.

Repeat this process for your CompareDocs folder if needed.
