Stamping is the process by which Worldox-managed documents are automatically marked via pre-defined descriptions or codes (stamps) within document footers. Stamping can be set up for these types of files:
• Word documents
• Excel spreadsheets
• Word Perfect documents
Note: Setting up and managing stamps is outside the scope of this Help file. If you have questions about stamps available at your site, please contact your Worldox Administrator.
Stamping is by design an automatic process, and typically does not require any intervention by Worldox users. The only time you may need to work with stamps - assuming you have the rights to do so - is when documents are prepared for distribution.
If it is not appropriate to display proprietary stamps in document footers, you can clear them. Here is how to do that:
• In Word 2003 and earlier, select Clear Footer from the Tools pull-down menu.
• In Word 2007, click the WORLDOX pull-down menu listing at the top of the document window. That opens the Worldox toolbar. Clear Footer is a choice on the left side of that toolbar.
• In Excel 2007, click the WORLDOX pull-down menu listing at the top of the document window. That opens the Worldox toolbar. Remove Footer is a choice on the left side of that toolbar.
• In WordPerfect: If you are using the appropriate Worldox template, you can use the Clear Footer toolbar button.
Note: It's possible to integrate WordPerfect and Worldox via other means, so this option may not be available at your site. Once again, if you have questions, please contact your Worldox Administrator.
• If you are using ODMA integration, then you must invoke the macro file directly.
