WORLDOX DropZone places an icon on your Windows 95/98/NT/2000 desktop.

Any file object profiled with DropZone becomes part of your WORLDOX document repository. That means you can search for it using all the powerful WORLDOX search capability, including full-text searching. What’s more, with the WORLDOX integrated viewers, you can view the object any time, even if you don’t have the application that created it. With WORLDOX DropZone viewing profiled e-mail messages and attachments is a breeze!

You simply drag an information object – such as a word processing document, e-mail message, e-mail attachment, voice message, or graphics file – and drop it on the DropZone icon.

WORLDOX DropZone works with any application that can support drag and drop on the Windows desktop. That means that not only e-mail clients, but scanning software such as PaperPort, and even Windows Explorer, work with DropZone.

For example, suppose you are working on several matters and are likely to receive e-mail on each. Simply create a corresponding number of WORLDOX DropZone Categories that define the client, matter, attorney and so on. When you receive an email that you want to profile, just drag it DropZone and select the appropriate category.

Profiling with DropZone is quick and easy since you can assign the item to an existing WORLDOX Profile Group and profile it accordingly. Or you can assign it to pre-designed Profile Templates that have most or all the profile information filled in already. You can create your own library of personal Profile templates – one for each project you work on, for example. The WORLDOX Administrator can create also create Profile templates for all WORLDOX users.
