Worldox GX Service Release 1 (SR-1) is Available Now.

Ridgewood, NJ, August 10, 2007 – World Software Corporation®, a leading provider of document management technology, announced today the availability of Worldox GX® Service Release 1 (SR-1).

Worldox GX SR-1 contains several key enhancements including:

Document Retention Module:  Under a document retention regime, documents are considered to have "life cycles” or “retention rules”. Some documents are retained indefinitely while others are disposed of in some fashion. Document Retention addresses the final disposition of documents in a systematic manner, firm-wide. With Worldox GX SR-1 you can now assign your documents a predefined "life cycle" value and determine what will happen to them when they reach the end of that cycle. Worldox GX SR-1 offers two options to Archive, (or move documents from primary storage), or to Delete documents. We will be extending the functionality of this Module in the future.

Microsoft Office 2007, Windows Vista Support and more: Adds integration and support for today’s latest applications and operating systems like Microsoft Office 2007 Suite and Windows Vista. We are always adding integration with many other products (e.g WorkShare 5.0) and we regularly post these additions to our customer online Knowledge Base. “PROJECTS” feature enables the user to group multiple documents/emails into one Worldox list under a Project name. Projects will allow users to retain the grouping of all files gathered, (from the same or different folders), for a specific purpose and then quickly and easily re-access them.

New Viewer Technology: SR-1 includes an extensive upgrade of Worldox Viewer Technology.  It includes support for the new Office 2007 formats as well as enhancements to many popular formats such as PDF and TIF.

Interface Improvements and new features: This update also includes over 50 new features and interface improvements. Things like a redesigned Field Table dialog, improved type down search feature and configurable menus.

Availability: Worldox GX SR-1 will be available for download August 10, 2007. Simply load WDUPDATE.EXE from your Worldox GX install and use the “check internet” option. SR-1 will then be downloaded and applied. Documentation will be placed in your program folder on the network
