World Software Announces Upgrade To Worldox SDK World Software Announces Upgrade to Worldox SDKWorldox latest SDK upgrade version 2.75 now includes support for VB.NET, C# and Windows Service Apps January 12, 2007 – Ridgewood, NJ - World Software Corporation, producers of Worldox, the company’s multi-award winning document management software announced today an upgrade to their Worldox SDK, version 2.75. This SDK upgrade includes three major improvements for programmers using VB.NET, C#, and programmers writing applications that are designed to be run as a Windows Service. Programmers that are developing applications using either VB.NET or C# will now be able to utilize the Worldox SDK to develop applications in these programming environments. The SDK now includes declarations for all of the API Calls for programming in VB.NET and C# along with manuals and programming examples contained in a project file for each of these languages. Developers that wish to create applications that run as a Windows Service can now accomplish this by using our new API Call, WDAPI_InitEx. This new API calls allows programmers to initialize a Worldox SDK session handle without the need for the Worldox client to be actively running in memory. During pre-release testing a number of software companies have utilized this new API call and have found great success developing service based applications to run with Worldox. We are very excited about the possibilities that this new feature will open up to the developers that utilize our SDK. The upgraded SDK also contains updated documentation and a number of new programming examples designed to assist programmers with learning and utilizing the SDK. The Worldox SDK is available free of charge to all current Worldox maintenance customers. The SDK may also be obtained by 3rd party software vendors so their developers can write integration with the Worldox DMS For any questions regarding the Worldox SDK please contact support@worldox.com.
