LexCloud.ca Named Exclusive Host of Worldox Cloud Canada

TORONTO & GLEN ROCK,NJ– April 16, 2015 – LexCloud.ca & World Software Corporation announced today that they have partnered to deliver Worldox Cloud to Canadian customers. Through this partnership, LexCloud.ca will exclusively deliver Worldox Document Management Software (DMS) in the cloud to Canadian law firms utilizing data centers within Canada.

World Software, based in Glen Rock, New Jersey, is the creator of award-winning Worldox DMS software, which has long been the document management choice of more than 5000 law firms.

The leading provider of cloud services to Canadian law firms, LexCloud.ca offers a secure Canada-based cloud platform for firms to access their data and applications.

“LexCloud.ca is excited to be partnering with World Software to offer Worldox to Canadian lawyers in the cloud,” said Mike Dewdney, Chief Executive Officer of LexCloud.ca.

“We are pleased to be offering Worldox Cloud in Canada,” said Ray Zwiefelhofer, President of World Software Corporation. “The team behind LexCloud.ca has successfully deployed the on premise version Worldox solution to Canadian firms for many years, and we are confident they will deliver a great Worldox Cloud experience to Canadian lawyers.”

By adding Worldox Cloud Canada to LexCloud.ca’s product suite, LexCloud.ca provides law firms with more options to take advantage of the cost and productivity benefits of the cloud. Complementing LexCloud.ca’s Private Cloud offering, which replaces a firm’s entire on-site network with the cloud, Worldox Cloud Canada offers proven document management in the cloud.

Worldox Cloud Canada offers many advantages to Canadian law firms seeking to improve access to their documents:

  • Documents and data are stored on Canadian soil
  • Firm documents can be securely accessed over any Internet connection
  • Monthly subscription is cost-effective compared to on-site implementation
  • Eliminates the need to manage DMS software in-house
  • Provides Disaster Recovery protection with automated, frequent backups
  • Users enjoy expert technical support delivered by dedicated Legal IT helpdesk
  • Scalable implementation lets firms readily add or remove users
  • “Zero download” technology delivers large PDF files fast

“The expansion of LexCloud.ca’s offerings to include Worldox Cloud Canada is great for firms who want to take advantage of the cloud for document management,” said Dewdney. “Having data in the cloud empowers firms to deliver better client services from anywhere their lawyers need to be – now even firms without a full cloud deployment can benefit from secure online access to their documents.”
