Press ReleaseWorld Software Corporation Ridgewood, New Jersey, December 2000 - World Software Corporation(tm) has released WORLDOX(r) 2000, the latest version of the multi-award-winning Document Management System. WORLDOX 2000 officially introduces "DropZone", an Object and E-Mail management tool that allows users to drag, drop and profile documents and objects directly into their document repository. DropZone can accept documents from e-mail, the internet, and any application that is both OLE 2 and MAPI compliant. WORLDOX 2000 contains new versions of ISYS search engine (5.05) and Outside In (6.1) file viewers, as well as incorporating integration with practice management software Time Matters(r) and Case Master, and content comparison software DeltaView(tm) and CompareRite(tm). WORLDOX administrators will benefit from the new release's upgraded ISYS indexer with improved diagnostic abilities, and the ability to edit WORLDOX settings directly rather than editing INI files manually. For developers, WORLDOX 2000 provides a true open architecture through a significant upgrade of the WORLDOX API (Application Programmers Interface) to SDK version 2.1. WORLDOX
