WORLDOX 2002 Service Release 3 (SR-3)

SR-3 Features Major Indexer Upgrade, Support for WordPerfect 12 and Updated Viewers

RIDGEWOOD, NJ - June 17, 2004 - World Software Corporation®, a leading provider of document management technology, announced today the availability of WORLDOX® 2002, Service Release 3 (SR-3). Available for download by all WORLDOX Maintenance Customers at no charge, the SR-3 release includes several significant updates, most notable of which is a major performance upgrade to the WORLDOX Indexer. WORLDOX customer sites using the new WORLDOX Indexer technology reported a 50-300% reduction in Indexer text build times. In addition to this dramatic improvement in indexing speed, the SR-3 release also includes support for Corel WordPerfect Office 12, updated WORLDOX Viewers, and a consolidation of program fixes.

• Significant Indexer Speed Increases in SR-3

WORLDOX Software Development achieved a remarkable leap forward in reducing text index build times. WORLDOX customers that have already been using the new SR-3 Indexer technology are extremely enthusiastic about the exponential improvements in their text-indexing performance. Glenn Hagon of Boodle Hatfield LLP in London reported a 300% increase in text-build speed. Hagon remarked, “The new WORLDOX Indexer exceeded all our expectations. Previously, a complete rebuild of our text database could take days. With the new design, we can index more than a million documents overnight.” Dwayne Belcourt, Network Administrator for Field LLP in Calgary, Alberta commented, “I noticed a huge increase in speed with the new technology. • Support for Corel WordPerfect Office 12

Corel WordPerfect Office 12 is now fully supported by WORLDOX 2002, SR-3 out-of-the-box. No additional patches or hot fixes are necessary to achieve ODMA integration. For users who prefer macro integration, contact WORLDOX Tech Support to obtain download instructions for the patch.

• Updated WORLDOX Viewers

WORLDOX updates its Viewer technology in SR-3, expanding to include new file types and formats.
