WORLDOX GX is Now Shipping to Both New and Existing Customers

November 23, 2005 – Ridgewood, NJ – World Software Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise Document Management System solutions, recently announced the availability of WORLDOX GX, a groundbreaking new release of the multi-award-winning software. The new GX version offers several major improvements and enhancements to the WORLDOX product, most notably in the areas of expanded e-mail management, revamped user interface, new file-level security, expanded version control and better navigation. What’s New in WORLDOX GX:

• E-mail Management Enhancements - including Drag and Drop of email messages from Outlook. GX also provides our initial support for Lotus Notes Email.
• A Brand New Look – WORLDOX’s Graphic User Interface has been completely modernized with a Windows XP-like graphical look.
• File-Level Security - WORLDOX GX file security now integrates with Windows Active Directory.

WORLDOX GX E-mail Management Enhancements

• Drag and Drop Profiling - WORLDOX GX introduces folder-based Drag and Drop profiling for
Microsoft Outlook users. As you create WORLDOX Quick Profiles for e-mail, WORLDOX can automatically generate corresponding folders in Outlook. Then users can simply drag one or more e-mail messages from the Outlook InBox to WORLDOX, which will then fully and automatically profile the messages and Move (Copy optional) them to WORLDOX control.
• Integration with Lotus Notes E-mail (Notes version 6 and higher) – Notes users will be able to Copy and Move Emails and Attachments from the InBox to WORLDOX GX.
• Smart E-mail Profiling – Smart E-mail profiling remembers the last profile saved for each e-mail address based on context or location. The next time you profile an e-mail message, WORLDOX consults the saved profiling information and automatically applies the previously entered profile information.
• Profiling of Sent Messages – With WORLDOX GX, you can now opt to profile outgoing e-mail messages, thus including them in your searchable central document repository.
• Expanded E-mail Header Information – Additional e-mail field metadata such as From, To, CC, BCC and others are now captured when e-mail messages are profiled in WORLDOX.
• E-mail Facilitated Collaboration – WORLDOX GX users can now collaborate on a document using WORLDOX and Outlook. First, the user attaches and e-mails a document to a designated recipient from within WORLDOX. The recipient can then revise the document and e-mail it back to the original sender, at which point the altered document can be saved as a subsequent version in WORLDOX.

A Brand New Look for WORLDOX - Modernized Graphical Interface

WORLDOX GX debuts a brand new look for the 12-year-old legal software veteran performer. Tom Burke states, “WORLDOX designers have given the product a total facelift and the result is a visually appealing display that presents document information and options in a clear, straightforward and attractive way. Navigation has been improved and new bookmarking and user-driven customizations lead to a rich, powerful new user interface.”

WORLDOX GX file security integrates with Windows Active Directory.
Security Groups and file-level access controls set in WORLDOX GX now synchronize with Windows Active Directory seamlessly and transparently in both Windows 2000 and 2003. By joining forces with Microsoft’s Windows Active Directory, WORLDOX achieves maximum security without the need for complex, expensive, multi-tiered architectures, thus providing true file level protection to safely secure documents at the operating system level.

WORLDOX GX introduces an expanded Version Control system.
The version control system in WORLDOX GX has been significantly upgraded and expanded. Instead of 26 versions which had been the previous limit, GX users can now create up to 256 versions of a document in addition to the following:
Assign each version of a document its own complete profile.
Create new versions of a file directly from the WORLDOX File menu as well as when saving documents.
Convert seamlessly from previous WORLDOX version control via a dynamic, built-in legacy version upgrade.

New Navigation in WORLDOX GX

WORLDOX GX includes improved navigation and efficiency features, allowing users faster and easier access to their documents.
• Bookmarks in WORLDOX GX provide a whole new way to work with files. Quickly save lists of files based on searches, folders, or your favorites.
• Document Tabs provide instant access to document comments, profile information, content, and related documents.
• Worklist Tabs in WORLDOX GX are now persistent: once you open a tab, it remains available until you close it or you exit and log off WORLDOX.
• Forward & Back Buttons. Navigation has been dramatically improved as well with Forward and Back buttons that allow the user to navigate between file lists, similar to the same Forward & Back buttons on internet browsers.

Pricing/Shipping Information For WORLDOX GX

Worldox GX is now shipping to both new and existing customers.
• The price of WORLDOX GX is $395 USD per concurrent user license plus maintenance of $70 per license per year. WORLDOX customers with a current valid Maintenance Agreement will receive the upgrade to WORLDOX GX at no additional charge.
• Upgrade prices for all customers not currently on maintenance with World Software must be re-quoted effective the date above.
