WORLDOX GX boldly advances World Software’s 17-year tradition of producing robust, full-featured document management software for legal and other industries. This latest offering in the WORLDOX line delivers an exciting array of new capabilities and introduces an entirely revamped interface, empowering organizations to maximize their investment in the proven WORLDOX document management solution. WORLDOX GX is a ground-breaking product release that rewrites the rules for managing electronic documents.

WORLDOX GX showcases a totally new, redesigned user interface.
WORLDOX GX has been redesigned and rewritten to improve both ease of use and to deliver superior performance. Development staff have worked closely with customers and WORLDOX resellers, fielding feature requests and suggestions for refinements. The result of this intensive development effort is a dramatic new presentation, offering direct access to work lists, document profiles, comments, content, and related information. Core document management functions such as check out, searching, navigation, and managing related documents, have been redesigned for smoother, more efficient, intuitive workflow.

WORLDOX GX builds on users’ proficiency in using Internet search engines by incorporating the best elements of Web search style and a new, simplified syntax that bestows a powerful boost to firm-wide productivity.

WORLDOX GX brings major enhancements to e-mail management.
WORLDOX GX builds on the success of its predecessors, setting the standard for the next generation of e-mail management within an advanced document management system. WORLDOX GX delivers highly anticipated improvements such as:
• Drag-and-drop e-mail profiling: Simply dragging one or more e-mail messages from your inbox to the WORLDOX profile folders in Outlook fully profiles the messages and moves them to WORLDOX control.
• With new smart e-mail profiling, WORLDOX GX remembers the last Profile saved for each e-mail address, based on its location within the message header (From, To, CC, BCC). The next time you profile a message, WORLDOX checks the saved profiling information, and chooses the previously entered profile.
• Additional improvements include automatic metadata collection, stronger metadata and full-text search capabilities, enhanced e-mail collaboration, and seamless versioning for file attachments.
• WORLDOX GX is the first version of WORLDOX to offer support for Lotus Notes e-mail, which joins support for Outlook and GroupWise.

WORLDOX GX introduces an expanded Version Control system.
The entire document version control system in WORLDOX has been upgraded, increasing capacity to up to 256 versions per document, and offers a better, fuller-featured user interface for creating and managing versions. Current WORLDOX users will benefit from the dynamic, built-in legacy version upgrade, making for a seamless transition to the new versioning system, eliminating the need for a time-consuming conversion process.

WORLDOX GX file security integrates with Windows Active Directory.
Integrating directly with Active Directory in Windows 2000 and 2003, WORLDOX GX security provides full file-level, Group-based security. This is real security: what’s secured in WORLDOX stays in WORLDOX. WORLDOX GX sites can choose to implement the new File Level Security option, or the prior, WORLDOX-exclusive security system.

Pricing/Shipping Information about WORLDOX GX
The price of WORLDOX GX will be the same as WORLDOX 2002, which is $395 USD per concurrent user plus maintenance at $80 per license per year (updated 1/1/06). WORLDOX customers with a valid Maintenance Agreement will receive the upgrade to WORLDOX GX at no additional charge. World Software Corporation will begin shipping WORLDOX GX in August 2005.
